How to choose extracurricular activities for your child
Extracurricular activities are very important for the comprehensive development of children and teenagers. These activities are done outside of school hours and therefore provide a great opportunity to help them explore their own interests, meet other children with similar interests, learn skills that complement their formal education, and acquire values that will contribute to their personal growth, such as the importance of effort, discipline and teamwork.
Sergi Ventosa and Oriol Garcia win the Karel Challenge
The grand final of the Karel Challenge 2023 was held on Saturday, June 3. More than 100 young programmers traveled to Barcelona to face the last phase of this programming competition, which is organized annually by Codelearn. Throughout the day, the participants tested their speed, strategy and precision when programming, but in the end there were only two winners: Oriol Garcia (KC Senior) and Sergi Ventosa (KC Junior)
Codelearn Special Weeks: Boolean Attack
This week we are celebrating the last theme week of the school year, which will be dedicated to Boolean Attack, an online card game that is available on the Codelearn platform and is a variant of the classic Cheat game (which is also known as I Doubt It). Cheat is a game that usually can be played by using a standard deck of cards and the aim of the players is to run out of cards before their opponents. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to lie and deceive the other players and, at the same time, be able to see when the rivals are lying.
Karel Challenge 2023: are you ready for our coding competition?
The 7th edition of the Karel Challenge, the programming competition open to everyone and organized annually by Codelearn, will take place from May 2 to June 3. However, as in recent years, there will also be an online format of this programming competition so that everybody can participate from anywhere in the world. The Karel Challenge Online will start on June 5 and will end on July 1. Are you ready for a new challenge?

Our World Book Day Contest is back, which means all Codelearn students have a new opportunity to demonstrate all your creativity on the online platform, where you can make your drawings using Logo (an educational programming language) or create simple video-games or animated postcards using Scratch.
