Our second thematic week is already here! From March 15 to 19 our centers will learn more about Artificial Intelligence and most of our students will have their first contact with AI during this week. They will learn about this part of computer science, which develops algorithms allowing a machine to take “intelligent” decisions – or at least act similar to a human being.

Codeathlon Winter Edition – Winners

The second Schrödinger activity of the Codeathlon Winter Edition took place on Saturday. This online activity was also the final challenge of the competition and allowed us to finally know the winners of the current edition. More than 170 students took part of the activity and discovered the end of the story about the expedition to Venus. Finally, the winning clans have been Alerta Cobra 666 (Golden League), ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ (Silver League) and Friends.gif (Bronze League).

According to a recent study by Gallup and Google, 90% of parents in the United States consider that learning to code will be totally necessary for their children’s future and they value very positively that they can learn programming at school. They consider that it is an essential skill and that it is as important as the other subjects such as mathematics, history, language or natural science.
