No one can escape the spookiest time of the year, and we already have everything ready for our Halloween Contest. Once again, Codelearn’s online platform will become a scary place where monsters and horror stories will be the true stars of the after-school program. From October 20 to October 27, we will open a special Halloween section on the platform where students can showcase their creativity and try to scare us with their monsters and terrifying scenes.
This Halloween Contest is only open to Codelearn students. They can participate in two different ways: by creating an original video related to the theme with a maximum duration of one minute or by drawing something that will spook the entire jury using Logo, which is the first programming language that can be learned in our school. The contest consists of four categories, and the best entry in each category will receive a prize.
As usual, students will have a one-week window to submit their creations through the special section that will be opened on the platform, where they can also vote for their peers’ videos and drawings. The contest entry period will open on Friday, October 21st, and close on October 27th, with the winners being announced the following week on social media. Popular votes will be taken into account, but the Codelearn jury will evaluate all entries and ultimately decide the overall winners in each category based on the degree of originality and effort put forth by the participants. Please note that the use of scripts and programs that automatically convert images into drawings is not allowed.
