Spring has arrived and our World Book Day Contest is approaching! Once again, all Codelearn students will have the opportunity to showcase their creativity through programming. On the online platform, you can create drawings using Logo or create animations or simple videogames using Scratch. Since the theme of the contest is the World Book Day, this year we ask that your projects illustrate your favorite book or tell us its story. Are you up for the challenge?

The 2024 World Book Day Contest will begin next Friday, April 12, and students will have a whole week to participate, until Friday, April 19 at 11:59 PM. Once again, we have created categories taking into account different ages and the programming language used in each case.

1) Logo from 6 to 8 years old
2) Logo from 9 to 12 years old
3) Logo from 13 to 18 years old
4) Scratch from 10 to 12 years old
5) Scratch from 13 to 18 years old

So, depending on how old you are, you’ll have access to one or two special adventures during the contest. You can vote for your classmates’ creations on the platform, and the Codelearn jury will also rate all the projects and announce the winners via social media.

The winner of each category will get 10,000 points and a €50 Amazon Card. In addition, each center will also be able to choose its own winners, who will receive 5,000 points as a reward.
