July has begun, and it’s time to start thinking strategically. As every year, from July 1st to 31st, there will be special activities both on the platform and at our academies, and this time they will all be related to strategy games. To help you enjoy summer in a fun way, we’ve made some changes to the Games and Activities section of the online platform and are ready at our centers with a ton of board games to enjoy afternoons at Codelearn.
On the platform, we’ve introduced some updates to Boolean Attack—now, you’ll have the chance to play against the computer (with as many bots as you choose), any player can call a bluff even if it’s not their turn, and we’ve added new animations that show how a card is evaluated when it’s played, helping you better understand the different logic gates.
We’re launching the new Rush Hour 5 adventure and, to celebrate, we’ve added Rush Hour to the Games and Activities section, with over 1,000 different scenarios that will appear randomly. This game will always be available to students who complete all five Rush Hour adventures, but during July, everyone can access it and give it a try.
We’ve also added a new game to the platform: Recursive Tic-Tac-Toe! Have you ever tried playing tic-tac-toe inside another tic-tac-toe? Now you’ll be able to do it on our platform, playing either against the computer or against other students!
Additionally, there are updates for Battleship and Go: Battleship now lets you play against other students, while Go offers the option to play against the computer. On top of that, new adventures related to other strategy games will soon be available, including a new adventure for Bridge and another for Backgammon.
All these games will be available for everyone until July 31st, and you can access them at any time of day. During your afternoon at the academy, besides working on your exercises on the platform, you’ll also be able to spend some time playing different board games with your friends, making this month’s in-person sessions even more fun. Come to our centers, stay cool, play, and train your mind!
