Raspberry Pi is a computer which has the size of a credit card and is connected to a monitor and a keyboard. This board supports several necessary components in a common computer, in order to be able to carry out the same functions as a PC, but with a minimum consumption and space.
Sonic Pi is a tool for creating music by writing code, allowing users to define their own sounds, rhythms and tones, and allow alteration of parameters and values while playing (live encoding).
In this course, students will learn:
- What is Raspberry Pi and what is it used for
- Launch the Raspberry Pi platform and use it
- Know more about Sonic Pi and be able to define by programming our own music
Students will be required to bring their headphones to take the course.
