Blockchain

Blockchain is the technology behind digital currency, such as "bitcoins". It consists of a distributed database, which is made up of blockchains that have been designed to prevent its modification once a data has been published.

This online camp is designed for older students (from 14 years) and it aims to introduce the theoretical concepts behind this technology and see how it works in practice, along with some applications such as smart contracts and digital currency.

On this course students will work the following subjects:

- What is blockchain? What does it have to do with Bitcoin?
- What cryptocurrencies are and how they work.
- Ethereum.
- Our first smart contract with Solidity.
- Some projects which use blockchain.
