Antonio Gómez and Roger Soler win the Karel Challenge 2022
The grand final of the Karel Challenge 2022 was held last Saturday in Barcelona. More than 90 young programmers approached the FIB ready to try to pass the last phase of Codelearn’s most exciting coding competition. Speed, strategy and accuracy are the keys to winning, three skills that all participants demonstrated throughout the day. However, only one participant in each category could win and this year’s winners were Antonio Gómez (KC Senior) and Roger Soler (KC Junior).

After two years organizing an online competition, this year our popular Karel Challenge will once again have a face-to-face modality that will start on May 2 and end on June 4 with the grand final in Barcelona. However, after the experience of the last two years we didn’t want anyone to miss this coding challenge, so we have decided to create a new online Karel Challenge competition, which will start on June 4 and will be open to everyone. This online competition will have a unique category and the winner will get a Google Pixel 6. Are you ready for this big challenge?
Online coding camps (summer 2022)
Temperatures are starting to rise, summer is coming and we are ready for the online coding camps. This year we have organized four different courses so that you can learn to code from anywhere: you only need a computer and an Internet connection. There will be coding courses, Minecraft camps, video games programming courses, for younger children and also for teenagers.
