Dust off your chessboards because the competition is back at Codelearn! From March 3rd to 16th, we’ll be hosting the Chess Contest —a league where students can showcase their chess skills by competing against fellow classmates on our online platform. And if they make it to the finals, they’ll get to compete in person!
SCHEDULE
─ Qualifying Round: March 3rd–9th. The top 48 players with the most points will advance to the league stage.
─ League Stage: March 10th–16th. Each participant will play two games per day: on weekdays at 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM, and on weekends at 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM.
─ In-Person Final: March 29th in Barcelona, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM (for students from other regions, we’ll explore the possibility of participating from their nearest center). The top 6 players from the league stage will receive an invitation to compete in the in-person final.
PRIZES
─ In each league match (with 48 participants), players can earn 150 points for a win and 75 points for a draw.
─ The in-person final winner will earn 10,000 points, the runner-up will receive 5,000 points, and all other finalists who attend will get 2,000 points.
Additionally, during the competition, there will be chess-related prizes available in the store.
