In this robotics course children will work as a team to build and program MakeBlock robots, which are a very versatile educational tool.
Students will be introduced to the world of mechanics, computer science and electronics in a playful way, which may encourage them to study more eagerly STEM subjects at school (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). In addition, we will work on the dynamics and roles which will be expected from future college students and workers: the ability to work in a team, imagination, creativity and communication.
In this course, students will learn to:
– Follow assembly guides to build various robot models.
– Know the basic components of a robot.
– Know the programming environment of MakeBlock and write simple programs.
